Buying a Truck Shouldn't Feel Like a Fight.
How It Started
Anyone who has bought a used Class 8 truck knows the two bad options.
Option one: the retail lot. You walk in, and the price on the windshield has already been marked up to cover the lot, the salespeople, the months that truck sat there, and a healthy margin on top. The real condition of the rig is buried under a fresh detail job and a confident handshake. By the time you've "negotiated," you've talked your way back to roughly what the truck was actually worth — and you're supposed to feel like you won.
Option two: the auction. Faster, cheaper on paper, and a genuine gamble. You're bidding on a truck you've barely seen, sold as-is, with no recourse when the turbo grenades or the DPF is glass two weeks later. Auctions are where fleets quietly dump the units they don't want to fix — and the buyer inherits the problem.
We built TruckDrop24 because both options treat the buyer as someone to be managed, not someone to be dealt with straight. We thought the people who actually keep freight moving — owner-operators, small fleets, the mechanics who know exactly what a dusted turbo costs — deserved a third option.
The Third Option
So we stripped the process down to something honest. One verified truck. One wholesale price. One clock.
Every rig is inspected before it ever appears — first against the federal DOT standard, then against our own. The price you see is the wholesale price, the same for everyone, with no markup waiting to be negotiated away. When a drop goes live, every buyer sees it at the same moment. No insider list, no back-room deal. The first person to act gets the truck.
It's not a showroom and it's not an auction. It's a straight deal on a clock — and it's the platform we wished existed when we were the ones buying.
What We Believe
Wholesale should mean wholesale. No hidden fees, no "let me check with my manager," no price that changes based on how you look when you walk in.
Transparency isn't a feature — it's the product. Every truck comes with a full inspection record and an honest condition report before it ever goes live.
Speed is fair. A clock treats everyone the same. The deal isn't given to whoever negotiates hardest or knows somebody. It goes to whoever moves first.
Our Vision
We're building the most trusted way to buy a commercial truck in America — a place where an owner-operator in Houston and a five-truck fleet in Chicago get the exact same straight deal, at a price that actually makes sense, without ever setting foot in a high-pressure showroom. Every drop we run is a step toward making wholesale truck buying the default, not the exception.
See It for Yourself.
The grid is live right now. Real trucks, real wholesale prices, real countdowns.
