When you submit a form on TruckDrop24, we may collect:

• Identity: first name, last name
• Contact: email address, phone number
• Buyer interests: truck brands you've expressed interest in
• Carrier business info: company name, MC number, fleet size, equipment for sale
• Consent records: timestamp, form source, IP address (where applicable), and the specific consent checkboxes you ticked

2. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to your inquiry about a specific unit or carrier sell-through.
• To send transactional communications (e.g. inspection scheduling, deposit receipts).
• To send marketing communications such as Drop Alerts — only if you explicitly opted in via the separate marketing consent checkbox (see Section 3).

3. Marketing Consent (Important)

TruckDrop24 sends marketing emails (such as Drop Alerts) only to users who have actively opted in. Specifically:

• Agreeing to these Terms and this Privacy Policy is not itself marketing consent.
• Marketing consent is a separate, distinct, non-pre-checked checkbox on every form. You must affirmatively tick it.
• Each marketing-consent action is recorded with a timestamp, the form source, and the exact wording you agreed to.
• You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect transactional communications.

4. How Consent Is Recorded

For every form submission, we store the date and time of submission, the page/URL it came from, the values of both the required consent checkbox and the optional marketing-consent checkbox, and (where permitted by law) the IP address. This record is retained as legally required to demonstrate compliance.

5. How to Unsubscribe

Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes are processed immediately. You may also email us directly to be removed from any list.

6. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We use service providers (email delivery, escrow, analytics) bound by data-processing agreements. [Placeholder]
